Williams Lake

This sculpture originated from the feelings of finding home in new places. The high alpine environment that surrounds Williams Lake was the first signal of home after moving to Taos New Mexico. Thinking about the environments we are drawn to and feel comfort within. Created through the topographic maps of the environment I used these lines as a blue print to coil build up from. This piece reflects the changing topography of this wild environment.
